Title: From NANO to MACRO: How to translate NANO-technologies into MACRO-scale systems for microwave/millimetre-wave applications
Abstract: Nanotechnologies have been attracting a lot of attention in the very last years, thanks to their enormous potentialities in creating new paradigms for future electronics. Going hand in hand with materials science, the goal is to create macroscale devices and components for practical microwave and millimetre-wave applications. A multidisciplinary approach is mandatory in such cases, as well as a strong collaboration among scientists with different backgrounds.
In this seminar, some examples of two-dimensional (2D) and nanoscale ferroelectric material-based nonlinear and linear systems will be presented, encompassing design, simulations, modelling, fabrication, and experimental characterization.
Date of Seminar: 21 of May 2022
